Marcia J Ball Singing The Journey For Musical Ambassador Records

Veteran Reggae music producer Bassa aka Trevor Elliott from Musical Ambassador Records presents another authentic roots rock & reggae release featuring for the first time on his label the jamaican female artist Marcia J Ball with a track titled « The Journey ». This song is already available on iTunes, CDBaby and amazon. The song is presented alongside an instrumental version also available on digital stores, backed by one of Jamaica’s finest saxophonist Dean Fraser. About the story behind the recording, Bassa explains : « I heard about Marcia her voice and her recordings, and I knew her cousin Keble Drummond of The Cables, who recorded for studio One back in the day… That’s how i got in touch with her. I sent her this riddim that i had created, for her to write some original lyrics to it. The Journey is that beautiful song that resulted from that. After Marcia voiced the track, I sent it to Dean Fraser and he blows of the lovely phrases that you hear on the background of her track ». This year, Marcia J. Ball earned the 2016 award winning discerned by the Akademia Music Awards (April 2016).
Enchanted by this reward and the talent of this artist, Bassa is willing to keep working alongside Marcia to deliver with her some more projects.
